About Our Staff

Diana Di Gioia
, Lic. Acupuncturist, Director of Community Acupuncture on Cape Cod, is a 1995 graduate of New England School of Acupuncture in Newton, Massachusetts, where she trained in both Chinese and Japanese acupuncture styles. In 2003, she began studying with Dr. Richard Tan, originator of the Balance Method of acupuncture, a distal point treatment style that can show instant results in treating pain without using any local needles in the pain area. Besides creating one of the first Community Acupuncture clinics in New England, Diana is also active in the national Community Acupuncture movement, and has facilitated trainings and taught this practice model to acupuncturists from throughout the Northeast.   She has been in practice on Cape Cod since 1995.

Antonio DaSilva
, Lic. Acupuncturist,  has a Master of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from South Baylo University in Los Angeles, and a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Oswaldo Cruz University in  Sao Paulo, Brazil.  He found his way to acupuncture through the study of yoga and meditation, and also brings to his work a passion for social justice and being of service to working people.  Antonio is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Daphne Jochnick
, Lic. Acupuncturist, has been in practice for over ten years, and is a 1997 graduate of the Tai Sophia Acupuncture School in Columbia, Maryland. She has worked in private practice in the Washington D.C. area and in Connecticut, and with Acupuncturists Without Borders, where she brought groups of volunteer acupuncturists to New Orleans to provide treatment for Hurricane Katrina survivors.

deer Sullivan, Director of Community Outreach and Inclusion, is an artist, activist, nature lover, massage therapist and creator of community.  deer supervises our volunteers and makes sure the office runs smoothly, creates events and programs that bring us closer to our community, and generally helps to weave together the strands that create the tapestry of our clinic.
Goodbye & Best Wishes Antonio!
We're sorry to announce Antonio DaSilva will be leaving us in July.  We are all sad to see him go;  he is a great acupuncturist and a wonderful human.  We know it's been a huge committment for him to commute to the Cape these past 9 months, and now that there are more opportunities to practice Community Acupuncture closer to his home in Boston, he'll be moving on.  We wish him much future success.
